Darth Plagueis and His Mysterious Master

Darth Tenebrous, the Sith Master of Darth Plagueis, is a figure shrouded in mystery. Little is known about his life or teachings, but he is believed to have been a powerful Sith Lord. Some speculate that he may have designed the Scimitar, the personal starship of Darth Plagueis.
Darth Plagueis
Darth Plagueis, pronounced pleɪɡəs, was a Force-sensitive male Muun Dark Lord of the Sith. He was the Sith Master of Darth Sidious and played a key role in the events leading up to the Clone Wars.
Plagueis was a master of the dark arts and was said to have been able to manipulate midi-chlorians, the microscopic organisms that allow beings to use the Force. He also had a deep understanding of banking and finance, and used his wealth to gain influence over the Galactic Republic.
Darth Plagueis's Betrayal
In the novel Darth Plagueis, it is revealed that Plagueis betrayed and overthrew his own master, Darth Tenebrous. He did this by using his knowledge of midi-chlorians to create a new apprentice, Darth Sidious, who was more powerful than Tenebrous.
With Sidious's help, Plagueis was able to defeat Tenebrous and take his place as the Dark Lord of the Sith. However, his reign was short-lived. Sidious eventually betrayed Plagueis and took his place as the Emperor of the Galactic Empire.
