Indiana's losing streak reaches four

MINNEAPOLIS - Even when she doesn't have her best game all Caitlin Clark does in Minnesota is win. The Indiana Fever stepped up their game in front of a raucous crowd Tuesday night at Williams Arena but Clark and the Lynx were too much in the end as Minnesota won 89-79. After trailing by 10 points in the third quarter the Fever cut the Lynx lead to 66-65 heading into the fourth quarter. But Clark who finished with a team-high 22 points scored the first five points of the fourth quarter for Minnesota to help the Lynx regain control.

The Lynx dribbled the ball out to loud cheers from the Fever Iowa and Caitlin Clark fans who made the drive from Iowa to Minneapolis giving the sellout crowd one last chance to cheer as the clock hit zero Minnesota improved to 13-6 with the win while Indiana fell to 6-13. Clark was 8-of-16 from the field and 4-of-9 from three-point range. She also had seven rebounds and six assists. Aaliyah Boston added 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Lynx Sylvia Fowles had 14 points and 12 rebounds Jessica Shepard scored 19 points for the Fever Aaliyah Boston scored 12 Crystal Dangerfield pitched in 10.
